The Healing Practice Most Women Never Learn

The Holy Yoni...

I’ll never forget this LSD trip I went on with my partner a few years ago on Christmas Eve. We had created an altar with 50 candles, and at least as many roses. We set intentions and created safe words.

The whole trip was so beautiful.

For a part of the trip we were both in our own little world - next to each other but internal. I was sitting naked on the floor, when I suddenly had this revelation.

My yoni is a portal to the whole universe. And not only mine - every yoni is.

Everything we see—every human, every art, every war, every love poem, every ancestor—came through a yoni.

The idea that all of humanity had come through all of these yonis felt massive to me. On psychedelics we can sometimes experience the things that appear to be second nature to us, as the miracles they truly are.

The idea that there was an intelligence in my body, behind the gateways of my yoni lips, that knew how to grow life, seemed like the greatest miracle that anyone could have ever conjured.

I placed a mirror in front of me and small candle in front of my yoni, as if it she was an altar.

And in a way, she is.

I was deep in my psychedelic journey—soft and totally blown open by this miracle of my yoni.

Not one human being arrived here without passing through that portal.
And yet…

How many of us have truly met this part of the female body with reverence?

How many women have looked at their yoni in all detail in a mirror—not with judgment or worry—but with awe?

How many partners regularly tell their yoni-owners that their yoni is beautiful, magical, sacred?

How many have learned to listen to her, ask for permission, offer presence, love, healing?

What is a yoni?

"Yoni" is the Sanskrit word for vulva. It's literal translation is “sacred space” or “source of life.”
It's not just an anatomical term—it's a spiritual one.

Because when you treat the yoni as sacred, something magical happens...

Cosmic orgasms.

More confidence.

More fullness in your body.

More aliveness.

A deeper connection with yourself.

But let’s go slow... and start with a little bit of anatomy.

Let me introduce the clitoris:

Most people don’t know that the clitoris is not just a little nub on the top of the yoni.
It’s a whole internal structure that wraps through the lips and around the vaginal canal like a wishbone.
The clitoris alone has 10,000 nerve endings!

Then there’s the G-spot (which is actually more of a 'zone' with a sponge - like texture) about a third of a fingers length inside the vaginal cavity, towards the belly-side of the body. It's famous for its connection to female ejaculation aka squirting.

The perineal sponge is also a pleasure centre and inside about a third of a fingers length towards the spine.

The vaginal canal is a muscular miracle - and the more muscular strength you have, the more multi-orgasmic one becomes (as well as having real health benefits later in age).

And then there is the cervix at the far end of the vaginal canal—a gateway to altered states of consciousness and the deepest surrender. If we could look at the cervix, it would look like a circular dome about 3-4 cm in width with a little hole in the middle.

A woman can have orgasms from all these different parts of the yoni, and not one should be idealised as better than the other.

Each part holds different emotions, different memories, different portals to power.

Yoni de-armouring is a gentle, powerful practice to release pain, numbness, and trauma stored in the vaginal tissues.

Because over time, the vaginal walls can develop “armour”:
⚔️ Layers of unconscious tension
⚔️ Stored grief, shame, rage
⚔️ Disconnection or numbness
⚔️ Pain during penetration or touch
⚔️ Feeling nothing at all

Through breath, presence, consent, and touch, de-armouring helps you:

🌹 Feel more sensation
🌹 Restore boundaries
🌹 Rewire your nervous system
🌹 Reclaim your erotic power
🌹 Open to pleasure without bypassing pain

So why does this matter?

Because most of us carry wounds here.

🔻 From the first time we had sex and weren’t ready
🔻 From being rushed, ignored, or violated
🔻 From surgeries or birth trauma
🔻 From shame woven into our culture, religion, families

🔻 Ancestral trauma that can be freed and liberated (heals your ancestors and you)
🔻 From simply never being taught that this part of us is holy

Yoni de-armouring isn’t just about releasing pain.
It’s about reclaiming sovereignty.
Feeling more. Loving deeper. Being at home in your body.

It’s not always comfortable.
Sometimes tears will come.
Sometimes laughter.
Sometimes you’ll feel numb.
Sometimes you’ll feel like fire.

But when you’re met with love, consent, and patience…
You can rewire your relationship to pleasure from the inside out.

If this speaks to you, I invite you to explore this practice more deeply.
Whether through self-touch, with a trusted partner, or in a guided ritual—
The journey of de-armouring is one of returning.

Returning to power.
Returning to sensitivity.
Returning to love
